Kdison Secures EPC Contract for 180TPD Hydrogen Peroxide Project at PT RAPP, Pangkalan Kerinci, Indonesia
On July 15, 2021, Kdison successfully signed an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract, including design, equipment supply, and technical guidance packages, with PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (PT RAPP), the Indonesian subsidiary of the global resource-based multinational Royal Golden Eagle (RGE), for the 180TPD hydrogen peroxide project in Pangkalan Kerinci, Indonesia. This marks another significant achievement for Kdison in the international hydrogen peroxide engineering service sector.

The project was initially introduced and coordinated by China Energy Engineering Group Hunan Chemical Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. Leveraging the client’s strong trust in the large state-owned design institute, the design institute facilitated communication and coordination between the client and the technical service provider, creating favorable conditions for the project’s smooth progress.
On this basis, the process route, system design, technical configuration, equipment selection, and overall project implementation were independently developed and executed by Kdison.
The project is located in Pangkalan Kerinci Industrial Park, Riau Province, Sumatra, Indonesia, and covers a complete engineering solution for a 180-ton-per-day (at 100% concentration equivalent) hydrogen peroxide production line, including hydrogenation, oxidation, extraction and purification, post-treatment, and working solution preparation. It represents a high-standard, fully integrated hydrogen peroxide plant.
Upon receiving the tender information, Kdison promptly formed a dedicated team comprising experts in process engineering, equipment, project management, and international business. Despite challenges posed by cross-border communication limitations and tight technical clarification schedules during the COVID-19 pandemic, Kdison relied on its mature and reliable hydrogen peroxide process technology, extensive experience in similar-scale projects, solid engineering execution capability, and professional international business competence. Through multiple rounds of technical and commercial negotiations, the company continuously optimized its proposal and ultimately won the project due to its high technical feasibility, strong implementation potential, and comprehensive, mature solution, earning the client’s high recognition against multiple domestic and international competitors.
Royal Golden Eagle (RGE), founded in 1967, is a leading global resource-based multinational industrial group. Its businesses span pulp and paper, cellulose fibers, specialty pulp, palm oil, energy, and infrastructure. The group has assets exceeding USD 40 billion and over 80,000 employees worldwide. PT RAPP, as an important operational subsidiary of RGE in Indonesia, is committed to building an efficient and sustainable integrated industrial system and holds significant influence in the regional industrial sector.
The successful signing of this project not only further consolidates Kdison’s expertise in hydrogen peroxide EPC and turnkey engineering solutions, but also demonstrates the company’s independent technical capability, system engineering integration, and cross-cultural project execution capacity. Looking forward, Kdison will continue to strengthen collaboration with international clients and domestic design and engineering institutions, providing global customers with safe, efficient, and reliable hydrogen peroxide solutions.
